10 YEARS OF CREAKT
Seit 2016 arbeiten CREN und AKTE ONE gemeinsam an CREAKT – einer Verbindung aus Malerei, urbaner Bildsprache und räumlicher Wahrnehmung.
Was mit den ersten beiden Yin-Yang-Arbeiten begann, hat sich über zehn Jahre zu einer eigenständigen Serie entwickelt. Orange und Blau, grafische Strukturen, urbane Elemente und freie Formen bilden dabei die charakteristische visuelle Sprache von CREAKT.
Das Besondere zeigt sich jedoch erst beim Blick durch die Chroma-Depth-Brille: Durch die gezielte Kombination der Farben verändert sich die räumliche Wahrnehmung der Bilder. Formen scheinen aus der Leinwand hervorzutreten, andere Ebenen rücken nach hinten und das eigentlich zweidimensionale Bild bekommt eine zusätzliche Tiefe.
Diese Verbindung von Malerei und einem scheinbar einfachen optischen Effekt ist zu einem festen Bestandteil von CREAKT geworden. Über die Jahre haben CREN und AKTE ONE die Technik immer weiter erforscht und auf unterschiedliche Motive und Kompositionen übertragen.
Mit CREAKT – THE DECADE wird diese zehnjährige gemeinsame Entwicklung erstmals in einer Ausstellung zusammengeführt. Gezeigt werden frühe Arbeiten ebenso wie neue Werke, die zeigen, wie sich die gemeinsame Bildsprache und Technik weiterentwickelt haben.
Zur Ausstellung erscheint außerdem ein spezieller limitierter Art Print.
Und wie man hört, könnte es anlässlich des zehnjährigen CREAKT-Jubiläums noch eine weitere kleine Überraschung geben: Es munkelt, dass auch ein limitiertes CREAKT Stickerpack das Licht der Welt erblicken wird.

10 YEARS OF CREAKT
Since 2016, CREN and AKTE ONE have been working together on CREAKT – a combination of painting, urban visual language and spatial perception.
What began with the first two Yin-Yang paintings has developed over the past ten years into a distinct body of work. Orange and blue, graphic structures, urban elements and free forms have become characteristic features of the CREAKT visual language.
But the real twist appears when viewed through the Chroma Depth glasses: the carefully selected colour combinations alter the spatial perception of the paintings. Shapes seem to emerge from the canvas, while other elements recede into the background, giving the two-dimensional image an additional sense of depth.
This combination of painting and a seemingly simple optical effect has become an integral part of CREAKT. Over the years, CREN and AKTE ONE have continued to explore the technique, applying it to different motifs, compositions and visual ideas.
CREAKT – THE DECADE brings this ten-year collaboration together in one exhibition. Early works will be shown alongside new pieces, tracing the development of the shared visual language and technique.
The exhibition will also feature a special limited art print.
And word on the street is that there might be another little surprise to mark ten years of CREAKT: rumour has it that a limited CREAKT sticker pack might also make its debut.
